At Tower Hill Dental Practice, we believe that every child deserves a healthy smile. That’s why our dental team is committed to promoting preventative oral health and delivering essential dental services directly to the community and local schools through our newly formed charitable arm, Dental Educare.
Children’s oral health is a growing concern. Increasing rates of tooth decay, avoidable pain, and missed school days due to untreated dental issues are affecting children’s well-being and long-term development. We know that early intervention and education are key to reversing this trend and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow up healthy and confident.
Thanks to the generous support of the Community Foundation for Calderdale (CFFC), we’re excited to launch a new initiative focused on improving access to dental care for young children in our community. We’re starting with a FREE dental check-up for children up to the age of 5 years, specifically for unregistered patients. These check-ups will take place at Tower Hill Dental Practice on:
- Wednesday 25th June
- Wednesday 30th July
This is a fantastic opportunity for parents and carers to get their child’s teeth checked by a dentist, receive oral health advice, and ask any questions – all at no cost.
Tooth decay is largely preventable, yet it remains one of the most common health issues among children. Establishing good dental habits from an early age not only protects a child’s smile but also lays the foundation for a lifetime of better health. By making dental care more accessible and raising awareness about the importance of early check-ups, we aim to make a lasting difference in our community.
